We build the
infrastructure of time.
TimeBeat was founded by network engineers who got tired of losing hours diagnosing timing failures with the wrong tools. Open-standard hardware. Observable software. No black boxes, no vendor lock-in, and no apologies about accuracy.
The origin
Why we exist
For most of computing history, time was something you assumed worked. You set up an NTP server, pointed clients at it, and moved on. Then financial markets moved to microseconds. Then 5G mandated sub-microsecond fronthaul. Then ST 2110 split video and audio onto separate streams with frame-accurate sync requirements. And suddenly, time stopped being something you could assume.
At the same time, the tooling to diagnose, verify and prove time sync was stuck in the 1990s. Vendor dashboards that didn’t talk to each other. Proprietary grandmasters that cost more than a family car. Audits that meant cross-referencing logs by hand. TimeBeat exists because the engineers who built it refused to spend another night in a NOC staring at the wrong graph on the wrong tool.
So we built the platform we wished existed — open hardware, open standards, observable software, and a lead engineer on the other end of every call.
Our mission
Make precision time
accessible to every network
For too long, nanosecond-grade time synchronisation has been reserved for organisations with expensive proprietary hardware and deep in-house expertise. We’re changing that with open hardware, open standards, observable software and honest engineering.
From a single Open TimeCard in a colo rack to a multi-continent managed timing fabric — TimeBeat scales with you, and it always keeps you in control.
Open by design
Open standards and OCP reference designs — auditable, no black boxes.
Standards first
IEEE 1588v2, ITU-T G.8275, SMPTE ST 2110, White Rabbit.
Global scale
Deployed across 60+ countries and five continents.
Vendor neutral
No lock-in. No proprietary protocols. Ever.
The team
The people behind the platform
TimeBeat is built by a focused team across engineering, hardware, sales and operations — with deep backgrounds in precision timing and financial-grade infrastructure. Click any face to read more.

How we work
Built on three principles
01
Open by default
We contribute to OCP, IEEE and ITU working groups, and build on the open OCP reference designs and standards. We build WITH the open ecosystem, never against it.
02
Engineers first
Every decision is made by people who have sat in a NOC at 3am chasing a timing fault. We build for them — not for a sales deck. If it doesn’t help the person holding the pager, it doesn’t ship.
03
Accuracy without compromise
There’s no ‘good enough’ when it comes to time. We push for sub-nanosecond accuracy because the applications our customers run demand it — and because we’d rather over-deliver than ever be the reason something breaks.
