Build the future of time

Timebeat is a small, global team building the timing infrastructure behind trading floors, telecom networks, broadcast and defence. Offices in three timezones, hardware on every continent, and a product cycle fast enough that what you build ships while you're still proud of it.

From the team

Why Timebeat

Timebeat has competitors with market caps of 10s of billions of dollars, so you might be wondering, how on earth do we out-innovate these behemoths? It's remarkably simple. We put esprit de corps first. We value company culture above everything else. The people in this collage are from different offices in different countries, they have different cultures, religions, speak different languages, have different ages, but when you see them smile, when they work, the joy and drive is real. It's the simplest formula of them all. I love you all. Thank you for a great week.

How we hire

No portals. Just people.

We don't run a big applicant-tracking machine. If precision timing excites you — whether you're deep in FPGAs, distributed systems, RF, or somewhere we haven't thought of — write to us with what you've built and what you want to build next. Every application is read by an engineer.

Students

Start your career where time is made

In school, at university or just graduated? We take interns and graduates year-round, and partner with academic institutions on research. You'll work on production hardware and software from week one — the same projects, tools and reviews as the rest of the team.

01

Internships

Interns at Timebeat work on the real product — hardware bring-up, firmware, gateware and the Sync Insight platform — with an engineer beside you, not a sandbox project. Recent interns have shipped work that's in production today.

02

Graduates

Start your engineering career where the work is real from day one. Graduates join the same teams, standups and code reviews as everyone else — owning hardware, firmware or platform work that ships to customers within your first months.

03

Research & academia

We collaborate with universities and research institutions on timing, White Rabbit and resilient PNT. If your research touches synchronisation, metrology or timing security, we want to hear about it.
